    Past Times for Children

Children 4 to 8 years old will discover what it was like to live in Carroll County in the 1800s.  They will travel back in time to living on farms and in towns through creative activities, songs, stories and crafts. This program focuses on a different topic each month and includes a craft or activity that reinforces the theme.

Classes are held the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Koontz-Yingling Learning Center at Cockey’s, 216 East Main Street in Westminster, MD.

We suggest children-only during the first portion of the class. Caregivers are invited to join their child for the craft time at the end of the class.

Caregivers accompanying a child must be 18 years or older and are required to remain in the building. Please let us know of any food restrictions.

For each class, there is a $6.00 charge which includes materials. Pre-registration is required; registration closes the Monday before the class.

Past Times for Children was created and is taught by Wendy Raith. Wendy was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.
